  1. Single Skin Warehouse:

    • Insulation: Single skin warehouses may have limited insulation properties compared to double skin warehouses
  2. Double Skin Warehouse(Sandwich panel):
    • Definition:
      • A double skin warehouse, on the other hand, has two layers of cladding or wall material.
    • Construction:
      • The building is constructed with an outer and inner layer, creating a cavity or space between them. This space can be left as an air gap or filled with insulation material.
    • Insulation:
      • The presence of the double skin allows for improved insulation, providing better temperature control within the warehouse. This can be particularly beneficial in environments where temperature regulation is crucial, such as for storage of temperature-sensitive goods.
