A sandwich panel is a composite structure consisting of three layers:
1 Top Skin (Outer Layer) – Made of PPGI, PPAL, Aluminum, or GI
2 Core Material (Insulation Layer) – Provides thermal & sound insulation
3 Bottom Skin (Inner Layer) – Same as the top skin or different material depending on use

Types of Sandwich Panels & Core Materials

PU (Polyurethane) Sandwich Panel

Excellent thermal insulation
Lightweight & fire-resistant
Commonly used in cold storage, warehouses, prefab buildings

PIR (Polyisocyanurate) Sandwich Panel

Enhanced fire resistance compared to PU
Ideal for fire-prone environments

EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) Sandwich Panel

Cost-effective & lightweight
Moderate thermal insulation
Used for temporary shelters, office partitions, and prefab buildings

Rockwool Sandwich Panel

Best fire resistance & sound insulation
Heavier but highly durable
Used for power plants, industrial buildings, and fire-rated structures

Applications of Sandwich Panels

Industrial & Commercial Buildings – Warehouses, factories, offices
Prefabricated Homes – Quick assembly structures
Cold Storage & Refrigeration Units – PU & PIR panels for temperature control
Partitions & Walls – Offices, modular spaces
